Guide to Booking your accommodation

There are a few questions you need to ask before booking your accommodation to ensure you get exactly what you need and for the right price.

• Where do you want to stay?
• What date are you arriving (Friday and Saturdays are more expensive than midweek)?
• How many nights are you staying for (some accommodation will only accept 2 nights on weekends)?
• How many guests are there (male or female)?
• What type of accommodation (e.g. apartment, hotel, guest accommodation)?
• What type of beds, (single, double, triple etc)?
• Do you want a quiet room or centre of town near to bars etc?
• Do you mind sharing facilities with other guest or prefer private en-suites?
• What is your budget (mostly quoted per person per night)?
• Will you be able to pay a deposit upfront (usually 20%) or can you pay full amount upfront (some hotels offer reduced rates for this)?
• What optional extras do you want (stag/hen packs, birthday cakes, bubbly etc)?
