Guesthouses are similar to our hostels and our bed and breakfast accommodation in that they are often an inexpensive alternative to hotels and apartments.

Our star guesthouse is Roscoe House – a 4 star accommodation located in Liverpool’s Cultural Quarter, with free WiFi in every room and splendid studio suites available with seperate dining and living areas.

The main difference between our guest house accommodation and our hotels or serviced apartments is that it is likely that there are no full-time staff available. While this will make the accommodation slightly cheaper, this may seem strange if you are used to staying in hotels or B&Bs. This also means that room service and maid service may not be as readily available, as they have significantly less staff than larger hotels.

Our guest houses are often managed by the owner because of their small size, however some guest houses are inside larger houses which may require more management staff. They are usually family owned with the family also living in the building. Because of the low staff levels, it is worth making an appointment to check in at a guest house in case the staff are not available.

There are usually restaurants nearby and some may even be attached to the building. The guest house staff will always be willing to guide you around the city whether you need a restaurant, bar or shops. Or, you can call our staff who are always on hand if you need a guide.
